Quotes: The deception of adolescence.

  1. I’ve been saying this for years! Our current culture keeps our offspring as children until the are at least graduated from college. In the old days, when they reached puberty they were considered adults and men were marrying at 16, 17, 18 years of age, while the young ladies were marrying from usually 14 and up. They were mature and ready to enter society, farm, raise children, go to wars, etc.

Now they do good to blow their noses or wipe their behinds on their own before they are 25!

And delaying marriage until mid-to late 20s (if that early) is why sexual immorality is rampant. They begin to reach their sexual peaks shortly after puberty (the way God designed them) and yet they can’t marry until 10-15 years later, so they seek sexual release.

    Stupid culture.
