October update.

Judging by the content of this blog, I know it looks like all I do is goof off (and occasionally offend someone). So, for those wondering if I do anything besides post pictures and quotes on my blog, I thought I’d update everyone on what I’ve been up to in the world of writing.

I recently completed writing and conducting the initial edits of my 7,000-word short story, The Visitor. And today it is being sent to my editor for review and critique.

The story is going to be included in my anthology (yet to be titled) that I hope to have completed in the next year or two. But in the meantime I will be offering The Visitor for sale as a single (hopefully befoimagere year’s end) until the anthology is ready.

I’m also in the editing and rewriting process for two more short stories that I wrote while editing The Visitor.

The Farmer in Shackles (2,000 words) and The Man in the Chair (a flash fiction piece just under 700 words) should be ready to be sent out for critiquing in the next month or two.

I also expect to finish writing the short story Collision (approximately 2,000 words) that I started back in July.

Besides full time work, raising a family, and taking care of things at home, I am still plugging away at writing (when I’m not posting pictures and quotes on my blog).
